I’m not gonna lie.
I did not think we would be in quarantine this long.
So at first, I was lollygagging.
I did light workouts because I was waiting on the gym to reopen.
Plus I was working from home so I stopped getting cute every day.
& I was snacking more.
After awhile my energy and momentum were completely different.
And I didn’t like it.
So I sat down with myself and asked,
“What will make me happy during this time?”
I’ll share a few things I listed like:
- A consistent workout schedule
- An organized room
- Increased water intake
- A morning routine
So I took the steps to make it happen.
I bought new bedroom furniture.
I started jump roping and cycling every day.
I bought a Healthish water bottle and drink 2-3L of water a day.
& I’m figuring out my ideal morning routine that includes stretching and reading/writing.
This has been an odd time and I encourage everyone who feels a little “off”
To sit down and write down what you want.
Write down what would make you happy and go do that, get that, work on that.
I had to refocus and readjust things according to this quarantine season’s parameters.
Here’s a friendly reminder to revisit your goals and see where you are,
And know it’s okay to refine the process of how you get there.
Tips on how to get on track, and stay on track:
Revisit your goals. Create clarity on what you want.
Be thankful for where you are and be proud of yourself for wanting to improve.
Watch how you talk. Say, “I can.” “I will.” “I am able.” Instead of, “maybe” and “I’ll try.”
Focus on the good. When you focus on the good, you see more good:)
Visualize your dreams. Include all senses: what do you feel when you reach your goal? What do you hear? What do you smell, where are you? If you can fill in the blanks and see it in your mind, the universe will work to make it happen.
Below are some self-reflection questions/blogs to help you figure out your true wants.
Sending peace and posi vibes to all of you along the way.
Stay safe and healthy out there!
Peace and blessings,
