I will never forget the year 2020.

The COVID-19 pandemic changed everything.

It changed how we work, how we shop, how we interact, how we live

how we communicate, how we do business, how we learn/teach

and more.

Yes is tough and uncomfortable… but honestly it’s not all bad.

Because these changes have made us better at being mindful of where and how

we spend our time, money and energy.

Though there was a lot of loss in 2020-

Let’s take a moment for all of our loved ones who have got their angel wings…

There was also a lot of gains in 2020 as well.

+ + + + +

I was so happy to see this post spreading on the internet:

I loved seeing people brag about their

accomplishments during a pandemic

because it was proof that even during this lockdown,

With all the societal quarantine changes and challenges,

political news happenings, stuff, stuff and COVID-19 impacts

God was still opening doors for people.

This year was HARD.

I won’t make this a diary but I gotta say

The hardest for me was losing both of my maternal grandparents-to old age and heartbreak-within 6 weeks of each other.

I think about the post, can I brag for a second?

I got a promotion…

I won a GOLD Davey Award for copywriting my first agency website…

I’m building muscle…I used to have looser skin.

I released my 1st ebook...

I didn’t faint in 2020…

My online store grew…

My locs grew…

Things that used to bother me, don’t bother me anymore…

Overall, YES 2020 was truly one of my hardest years- mentally and emotionally,

and I’m sure others can relate.

I even got 4 new tattoos this year because that’s how I cope and manage stress…

But when I sat down and looked at

what I could be proud of from the. year,

2020 wasn’t ALL bad.

When I count all of my blessings,

I can’t even be mad

I can’t even be sad anymore.

Another year of ups and downs.

I am thankful.

If it’s ONE thing I learned from the year,

It’s that gratitude is the best attitude.

I am thankful to leave 2020 behind us,

and make room for 2021 newness!

Friendly reminder that if we’re too busy

holding onto the past, and holding onto grudges

then our hands, and our minds won’t be free for

the love, joy, peace we deserve.

Let’s let go of all old drama and worries today today.

It is written Isiah 43:18-19

I wish everyone a Posi filled 2021 with grace, joy, prosperity and blessingsssss
