Why self-care matters
It can be difficult to pull ourself out of a funky mood. But for some reason, after we choose to do even the smallest thing that is caring for our mind, body our soul, we feel better. So just think if we could get some self-care in routinely... we'll feel more confident about Life and whatever Life throws at us.
Other self-care activities to choose from:
- Running, Weight lifting, Dancing, Yoga, Insert sport here
- Lighting a candle (aromatherapy)
- Getting a massage
- Getting a manicure or pedicure
- Writing a list of what we're grateful for
- Turning off our phone for a few minutes or a day
- Listening to music that inspires and motivates us
- Getting a new book
- Going through our closet and purging the clothes we don't wear anymore

If the phrase "self-care" doesn't resonate with you, try calling it "system maintenance" and see if that clicks and sticks.
