When times get rough
Sometimes it feels like nothing in Life is going right. Sometimes things do not turn out how we planned or expected them to. So what's next? That's not always clear, or simple to figure out. What we can always choose to do though is to take some new and different productive action that will get us to a better and more pleasant place in our life.
How we talk to ourselves matters
If we think we can change or "things" can change, we're right. If we think we can't change or "things" can't change, we're also right. Whatever we feed our minds, that'll be our outcome. So when we feed ourselves more positive, encouraging, uplifting thoughts, our behaviors align to the goals we say and set for ourselves.
Try more positive, encouraging, uplifting thoughts
Years ago when I was overweight +230 pounds and under depression, I remember reading this quote, getting goosebumps and writing it down for myself to see regularly. I think I got goosebumps because my body was activating change. I want to share the quote with others because since it's helped me overcome some negative self-talk and self-doubt, it could help someone else too...
"I do not define myself by how many roadblocks have appeared on my path. I define myself by the courage I've found to forge new roads. I do not define myself by how many disappointments I've faced. I define myself by the forgiveness and faith I've found to start again. I do not define myself by how long a relationship lasted. I define myself by how much I have loved, and am willing to love again. I do not define myself by how many times I've struggled to my feet. I am not my pain. I am not my past. I am that which has emerged from the fire."

Keep going and growing
I encourage us all to choose to took at all Life's experiences (good and unfavorable) as stepping stones to a higher place, and a way to a better wiser stronger know-better self! Let's learn and grow from Life's lifing. Nope, having a posi-tive mindset will not solve our problems, but it's easier to find solutions when we have hope and believe there are some.
Having hope
Hope attached to our emotions, plans, relationships, or finances will lead to destruction. Our souls have a secure, immovable anchor that we can attach to. His name is Jesus. Hebrews 6:18-20 says, “We who have fled to him for refuge can have great confidence as we hold to the hope that lies before us. This hope is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls. It leads us through the curtain into God’s inner sanctuary. Jesus has already gone in there for us.” And John 10:10 says, “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.” And Jeremiah 29:11 says: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
Keep praying, keep faith and hope in God. & Let God be God.
Because I just love how there is a scripture for everything… Even more reason to just leave it to God because Proverbs 19:21 says, “Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.”
Let God’s great plan for you unfold. However or wherever it’s going to happen.
You walk a little differently when you know you have a God that loves, helps, heals, hears, saves, speaks, blesses, guides, teaches, watches, answers, defends, forgives, provides, redeems, remakes, responds for/to you.
Know God is going to show up in a miraculous way!
