Things we can do to prevent funky moods from taking over

In life some things we do not have control over. 

And some things we DO have control over.

Like-- We DO control how we react.

Next time something unpleasant happens, here's a list of things we can do to change the trajectory of bad vibes.

BTW, I'm not saying we can't or shouldn't feel mad or sad. But I AM SAYING we cannot stay mad or sad.

Things we can do to prevent funky moods from overcoming us:
  • Take a nap
  • Eat whole-food
  • Exercise
  • Be present, practice deep breathing
  • Organize our space /clean our room or bathroom
  • Listen to calm music
  • Take a bath
  • Perform a random act of kindness
  • Read posi affirmations
  • Drinks lots of water
  • Doodle
  • Journal
  • Count our blessings
  • Meditate
  • Read
  • Read Got Lemons?
  • Work on a DIY or art project 
  • Light a candle
  • Eat fresh fruit
  • Pray
  • Compliment someone else
  • Go for a bike ride
  • Get outside for a walk
  • Watch funny videos / our favorite movie
  • Call a friend to listen, not complain
  • Go to a museum
  • Go to the park
